This was our first visit and we were not impressed. Primarily because our server barely said 2 words. We noticed how she treated the other guests at 3 nearby tables and she was very talkative and spoke about the menu and other things. Maybe she was having a bad day and we were next in line to receive her rudeness, and lack of making our first visit inviting. I was really disappointed with my visit. When I arrived, I sat for several minutes without being greeted or knowing if a server was coming. I was handed a menu, but after seeing other people getting up, I assumed I should follow and try the buffet. Unfortunately, the buffet was very disappointing — the food had no flavor and the bread was burnt. Delightful Service. Liz was fabulous!! I had Steak n Eggs . Steak was perfect. I only added butter, salt and pepper to it! Toast just the way i like it. 10 out of 10 recommend!
We had the meatloaf sandwich, Mater Cakes and gumbo - all fabulous!!!! So good.
You just have to Love when Something is Working Great and then a New Manager comes in and has Ideas! Like take a Great Menu and start making changes and changing items for Cheap Substitutes, like the once delicious Hash browns to McDonald’s Style hash brown cakes, and bacon that has been sitting in a serving pan for hours, and a Steak as thin as possible why pay $30.00 for a $12.00 meal that is Better at the Waffle House, they were once a Great Place
