Anti-Breastfeeding Hospital My Grandson was born in this Hospital and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, ever. There are a lot of things worth complaining about, but I am going to stick with the anti-breastfeeding policy they seem to have. As soon as my Grandson was born, they took him and administered immunizations. What hospital does this? Bayshore mistreats patients! Bayshore medical center is worthless as a hospital! I was waiting for a family member to be seen in the emergency room when a slender young lady walked into the waiting area. I think she was brought in by an ambulance and they told her to go to the waiting room. The young woman looked very ill and needed to be seen by a doctor but they still made her wait. Bayshore is a joke! I have lived in Pasadena all my life and I know for a fact this hospital is a complete joke. More than once I have been treated like trash by them. My daughter was in the ER the other day and we were there for 9 long hours and 5 of those hrs we spent in a room where no one even bothered to check on her at all. I remember one time I was waiting in the ER and an elderly couple came in and the woman was in a wheelchair. Wouldn't bring my dog here My 7 yr. old son came into the ER with a serious head injury. Despite my pleas to have him seen right away, the receptionist continued to refuse him any treatment or to let a nurse evaluate him. She made the call herself that he was "fine". Other ER patients were watching and commenting to me on his declining condition. Finally after vomitting in the waiting room, the receptionist allowed a nurse to see him and he was taken back to be seen. The ER doc did a CAT scan, left him laying around and came... read more
Never Ever Again I went to this hospital to have my baby. I ended up having to have a c-section that i don't think was necessary, then the incision became infected with staph and strep.The nurses were not very nice. I was supposed to be an annonymous patient and they told the person that I did not want to know I was there exactly where I was.Although the food there was pretty good. You could order whatever yoy wanted from the menu.
No Place to be I would not recommend this place to anyone. The last time I was there I ended up with a bacterial infection. Several people I know have had similar experiences.
worst hospital i would not go back to this hospital if i was dying...i had a hysterectomy done here and they cut my bladder wide open.my daughter decided to have her baby there against my wishes and a staff infeection set in with a secondary strepp infection. the nurses were very rude to her. as well as the people in the emergency room when she had to go in.
A great revised hospital I had a very pleasant visit at this hospital for tests and was so very pleased with the promptness, courteous attendants that were there. Check in was smooth and uneventful.
This is a fabulous hospital! My husband has had to be in the hospital several times in the last few years and we are so impressed with Bayshore now. We did not expect much the first time he went in since it has been around forever, but it was close to our home. What a surprise! The staff is wonderful and caring, the rooms nice and comfortable, the equipment well maintained and the doctors are phenomenal.
