Let me start off with saying this is my first time leaving any comment on ANY business page. These people (NOT ALL OF THEM) are so rude. I have three dogs who I take there and one in particular will break out with a rash/fungus that was passed down from her mom from time to time if not given her flea and tick medicine— WHICH THEY TOLD ME KEEPS IT AWAY. Let me start off by saying that I loved coming here. The veterinary doctor and her assistant that treated my dog were great. My dog had an appointment today for a booster shot, nexguard and heartworm pills. My dog chewed up my debit card but I had my card information written down and asked the woman at the desk if she could manually input my payment information. They have always been great with my dogs. I was able to get my new poodle puppy in right away yesterday when I was worried something was wrong. They made sure that everything was checked and treated. She’s doing great.

Our little boy got something in his eye. Dr. Fontenot tended to him with such care. Hes home with a cone and peacefully sleeping. Yall we drove up called their phone number, beautiful young lady with blue in her hair, (I would love to have that color) came out talked to us and took him in. In little bit Dr. Fontenot called us told us what to do. Minute later they called took payment over phone. Then Dr. Fontenot delivered our boy to us with meds to our car, we never got out. Bayou south has been amazing for Rod Reel and A-Net our 3 cocker spaniels! When rod had issues bayou south ensured we got answers without breaking our pocket book. Dr Houston and Dr Jackson have been amazing and even when my sister in law became a veterinarian we decided to stick with them. If you have a “problem child” they are definitely the best
Always great service at Bayou South. I started using Dr. Ted in the early 80’s, now using his daughter Darby. Love the care they give!
