I was pleased with the flavor and tenderness of the steak. I found the price reasonable for the quality.
Food was great
This is a real hidden gem. The only place around here for chicken cracklins and REAL boudin balls. Everyone is always super nice when I go in and they have a good selection of food - from frozen, freshly prepared, or ready for your oven (and all the spices to go along with it.) Brings me right back to southwest Louisiana.
The new location is not as convenient for me as the old Taylor's Meats was in New Albany, but I imagine they get a lot more through traffic there in Jeffersonville/Clarksville. The service seems to be about the same, and I'm about to cook up a crawfish etouffee stuffed chicken and see how it goes.
I got a seasoned pork steak and some kebabs from here. Absolutely fantastic. Lady at the counter was very friendly. They also do plate lunches!
