Really wish I could give zero stars. Hated everything on the plate. Fried grouper tasted like it had been fried in really old oil. I took one bite and almost threw up. Hush puppies were dark on outside and doughy and uncooked on inside. New potatoes were standing in water. I walked away just as hungry as when I arrived. I couldn't eat any of it. Really frustrating and disappointing and $20 wasted.
Been going there for 20 plus years and never have been disappointed and we continue to go as long as they are there.
It was a bit boring this time. Gumbo was cold, shrimp & fish were typical breaded that you could get at almost any restaurant. Crab cake was again a typical frozen item. Didn't taste anything like a real crab cake. May want to look elsewhere before spending over $50 for dinner for 2.
I absolutely love Bayou Bay! Every time I come home I have to go!! They're staff is great and their food is even better! :)
Most of the food was over cooked/burnt and the service was awful. We took a party of 4 at 5pm. The food took a while over 30 min to come out and the food all tasted the same over all. I gave 2 stars only because the peanut butter pie was fabulous " non fried" overall next time on that side of town we will keep driving!
It was the most horrible food I ever ate, over priced and service was even worse! I suggest finding somewhere else to go
The food is AWESOME! !!! The Gumbo will make your mouth water. Service was great and price is not bad for the portions you get. Will definitely come back.
