Outside is sketchy and it smells like cat pee but the room inside was remodeled and very nice. Comfy bed. However, the website and app say there is coffee and grab and go breakfast and the office was locked in the morning, so no coffee and no coffee maker in the room. False advertisement.

Worst motel we've stayed in for the last 50+ years. No hot water in the bathroom sink, bumpy vinyl flooring, no in-room coffee, continental breakfast very meager, no real clock, only outlets for charging phones by the bed but none for using laptops, tons of light streaming in around drapes, hairs on the sheet so we had to get clean sheets and remake it ourselves, very squeaky bathroom door. We did not get a good night's sleep.

I recently stayed at Baymont by Wyndham Bakersfield, and while the staff was friendly, kind, and helpful during check-in, the overall condition of the property was very disappointing. The rooms look nothing like the photos online. They are visibly run-down and poorly maintained. The room doors did not properly lock, and the deadbolt battery was exposed.
