Recently I stayed 2 nights post-op on the 4th floor. The nurses and staff were amazing!!! Everyone was so attentive, professional and went out of their way to make this stay the best it could be in every way. I could not say enough nice things about the care here. The only improvement I can see would be the food from nutrition service, but I had no appetite anyway. I recently had surgery and spent my post operative recovery here and received the most amazing care. On every level, the staff are knowledgeable, competent, compassionate, and patient centered. My concerns and needs were always respected, and addressed... and most often anticipated and exceeded! I am grateful for the contributions of every member of my care team during my time I spent here. I highly recommend this hospital if you are in need of state of the art, world class care.
Parking and baylor website bldg maps old and outdated. Not helpful. Incomplete Baylor website directions to Collins TBone pickens cancer hospital. Maps not current. Baylor does not show the new Sammons center on its website map. Terrible-do not use for bldg and parking info. 1-3-2018. They also call by2 different names - collins and or Pickens-VERY confusing to visitors. I call it Tbone -not t Boone. Rich guy wants his name on everyplace around.
The timeliness of waiting for a room is ridiculous. We were told to check in at 3 and it’s now near 6 pm and we haven’t been given a room yet. Guest service is taking FOREVER to communicate back. For a cancer patient having to wait for their treatment is not acceptable.
The 4 Pickens Team at Baylor T.Boone Pickens Cancer Hospital is amazing. Their care and attention to details are remarkable. Blessings to all of them.
