Always get in quick, doctors and nurses are wonderful. Highly recommend.
It took me 5 hours. I visited on 2/09/17 for blood and urine screening, EKG and X-Ray. People were seen and sent back out to the waiting room to wait for a bed which never came. I decided to leave and they told me "Wait a minute". My results was just sitting on a desk collecting dust. I waited 15 more minutes for a doctor to speak to me and another 30 minutes for discharge papers. It was a horrible experience because my doctor sent me there and this is the hospital he works with. I have been here for 8 days for a surgery that I was supposed to only have to stay for 3-4. On day 3 I spiked a fever, my surgeon ran all the appropriate tests and figured it was just a urinary tract infection. He signed all my release orders for sunday(day4) between Sunday (day4) and wednesday(day7)3!!!!!! Days my surgeon did not see me! He "thought" I had been discharged. The wait in the ER was crazy slow spent 5 hours in the waiting room just by itself since I was brought in by ambulance and they put me in a wheelchair in a corner. I went in with alter mental status the results came out that I had a 102.4 fever with fluid built up in my lower back due to a surgery two weeks ago at baylor hospital. Went home with a fever. And I have significant drainage since I left
Great place! They took such great care of my husband in the CVICU!
