I got a staff infection there. Has ruined my life. Simple ankle surgery has turned into a nightmare.
My 90 y/o mom had a procedure today and ALL staff were awesome!!! Her discharge nurse Chad was so nice and caring. They all paid attention to the details. She loved the jar of homemade chicken soup they sent home with her. Great Job!!!
My son is a 6 ft 5 in and is a diabetic and I was unhappy that they were not more vigilant of his feet. The bed was to short, do they no longer keep a few beds for tall people? His right foot was resting on the foot board, which then caused a diabetic ulcer. He is now missing his whole heel pad and has a wound vac. I have worked in hospitals since 1965, and am appalled how care has decreased. Medicine is now controlled by the bottom line and not patient care.
We would like to thank everyone starting with valet parking, receptionist, nurses Anesthesia and Dr.Oxford for professional medical help that he received while under their care,. I would recommend this hospital to others keep up the Baylor Uptown care. sorry I misplaced the name's.
This Hospital Is Very Clean, No Long Wait Time. And EVERYBODY Is Nice From The Valet To The Nurses!!!
I don't like to think of having to have surgery but the staff, doctors and all the way to the valet parking I would rate at 10 stars if it would let me. Dr. Westmoreland and his team did an outstanding job of repairing me. They got every appointment started on time including surgery. I had been in pain for over 115 days due to a minor procedure at a small hospital in East Texas in January, here it is less than 2 weeks after my surgery at Baylor Medical Center at Uptown and down to mild soreness that is deminishing every day.... read more
I just want to say out of all the hospitals I've been in I am most impressed with this hospital. Dr. Maybrey was my doctor and all the nurses on 3r were exceptional. I didn't want for a thing and they were all so nice and courteous. Thank you so much for making a difficult situation better.
Been with fever since Sunday night, go into the ER passing out. They have me filled out paperwork and insurance and then tell me there's no beds... Thanks Baylor. World class.
They are excellent- we have used this facility a couple of times. Efficient and friendly coupled with terrific care for patients and family members.
