Great place and Great Doctors, therapists and staff! Couldn't have asked for a better place for my brother to be at for his road to recovery from TBI from a motorcycle accident. Thank you to all the staff for your patience and passion for your hard jobs!
The people who work here are the best! So grateful for their help to help my husband after his open heart surgery! In a short time he made a big improvement in his stamina and we are looking forward to getting home! Everyone we have met here at Baylor has been extremely helpful!

What they have tough me here at BIR is that I am a "whole" person, even without my leg. I CAN take care of myself like this. I CAN live a great life from a wheelchair. I CAN continue to workout and do therapy with practically no "equipment". I CAN be proud of EXACTLY who I am at this moment and live a productive, independent lifestyle. I was so blinded by the thought of "I'll be "normal" once I get my prosthetic leg", I couldn't see that I was already complete and "normal" just like I am.
