ER misdiagnosis almost killed me 4th visit to ER and finally found an aorta dissection. Then rushed to Dallas for surgery.

Great doctors, terrible pricing and will not negotiate. I was quoted $14,000 for a procedure, which seemed like a ridiculous amount for day surgery. Baylor was $5-7000 higher than all other area facilities. After receiving quotes from eight other area hospitals and day surgery centers, I called Baylor Irving to negotiate a lower rate. They refused to negotiate. I ended up going to another facility where my doctor had operating credentials and paid half of what Baylor Irving quoted. Shop around if you can.

Great medical staff. Wish they could turn on the heat. Everyone working and people seeing the lab have to wear coats.
I came to the ER and was quickly diagnosed with being septic. after being admitted I had x-ray MRI to find out that I have a bone infection. the nurses and doctors on the third floor had absolutely no care about my condition. I will not go back to Baylor Irving for any reason!!!! they did not care about my pain level!!! when I explained to them that I was going to my doctor the nurse became increasingly rude and when I asked for paperwork to take to my doctor I was denied!!!!

Staff is wonderful, the rehabilitation floor is great and the staff was so loving towards my mother who was recovering from a stroke. Very nurturing environment with a very skilled and communicative staff who kept my family well informed of my mothers progress and what was to be excepted. My mother was happy and improved tremendously under their care of Doctors, nurses and therapists.
Absolutely awful hospital. This hospital refused to treat a completely severed tibia after learning he patient did not have insurance. They claimed they “did not have room.”
