I have nothing but great things to say about the day surgery staff! And Veronica at the check in desk is one of the sweetest, kindest person I've ever met. Everyone was kind and professional. They truly cared about me, the patient.
My grand daughter just had a ceserian baby there .Didnt want to have it that way but it had to be baby's heart rate too for too long . I loved that her siblings had a bed in the same room w/her to stay for the time she would be there Not very many hospital do that A prayer answered because they had no one to watch them !!! Got there at 11:50am. No beds available. I had to stay in the waiting room with horrible abdominal pain for 10 hours. Had a cat scan and blood tests and no results were given. I had the follow up the next day with my doctor. Worst experience ever!
The staff are amazing people and took very good care of my fiancé!!!
My wife had an in and out procedure on valentine's day this year. The day surgery bay and the procedure room were both filthy, the staff acted as though I should know my way around even though it was my first time and hopefully last time there. The procedure room was not properly stocked which caused the nurse and the doctor to have to call multiple times for things they needed from somebody outside the room. What a mess.
Based only on ER - been here many times before, but not since name change. ER nurse were very nice, BUT housekeeping seemed to be on strike. Waiting area and the treatment rooms were dirty! Even dry blood on the floor from previous patient. Not a lot but still eewww. It was pretty full- so you expect to see the cleaning crew, but didn't see them once.
I have had excellent care. The nursing staff have been great to me. The surgery team was excellent.
It took me 5 hours. I visited on 2/09/17 for blood and urine screening, EKG and X-Ray. People were seen and sent back out to the waiting room to wait for a bed which never came. I decided to leave and they told me "Wait a minute". My results was just sitting on a desk collecting dust. I waited 15 more minutes for a doctor to speak to me and another 30 minutes for discharge papers. It was a horrible experience because my doctor sent me there and this is the hospital he works with.
