Spend over 2 hours in waiting room Had no one leave or go back to be seen everyone kept complaining they kept saying that they are a emergency room department but no one has been seen or left from being seen after two hours of waiting would not recommend this place from my worst enemy

The 24 hour ER, Bayhealth Smyrna, on Carter Rd is always very accommodating, however, if you have a true emergency you may want to go straight to the hospital. My mother in law has been on Carter Rd since 11am with congestive heart failure, a room didnt come available at KGH til 6pm, but the ambulance company (Hart to Hart) still has not come to transport her. The ambulance gave us a pickup time of 6:15 but stll has not shown up and said they may take an hour to 1 1/2 longer!! This is so upsetting! Just an FYI for anyone wit... read more

The people are rude and the wait times are ridiculous
After, the experience my grandmother has had tonight I regret ever recommending she go be seen at a hospital. It’s a shame this world is filled with such nasty people. Smh 🤦🏾♂️ yet because most of them are nurse nothing will be done. I will be contacting Medicare and Medicaid first thing Monday morning this is just sad 😔.
