Bay Valley Animal Hospital has taken such great care of my pets!!
I moved to Bay City 2 years ago. I had only been here a week and my cat became very ill and had to be put down. Dr. Engelhardt was wonderful and he did tell me I was doing the right thing for my cat because he was suffering. He was very compassionate. We got a kitten a year ago and took him there for his initial visits and he was just there for his one-year checkup. All the doctors there are so informative and helpful. I recommend this place to anyone.
My cat Nicki was not a patient at Bay Valley but they got me in the very day I called to have my poor Kitty put to sleep. They called me back as soon as I arrived and I'm sorry I don't know the doctor or her assistant's name but they were absolutely amazing! They made a very sad situation somewhat bearable. I can't say enough about this place. They trurly love animals and it shows. They made me feel that I made the right decision. From the bottom of my heart thank you so very much�
Brought my beloved Boston Terrier of 14 years here to be put down. I was told her ashes would be back in 1.5 to 2wks...4wks & 2 days later I finally got them. When I called at the 2 wk mark I was told Fogelsongers (cremation place) must be busy...when I called at the 4wk mark I was told they couldn't find her...WAIT WHAT?? They finally found her at the bottom of their freezer (which they said she wasn't there when they previously looked) but didn't have the decency to let me know THEY screwed up.
