This building is a pleasant and comfortable place to live. However, one issue that occasionally arises is that repairs or maintenance requests can take quite a long time to be completed. I have been living here for three years, and during that time, many tenants have moved in and out, leading to frequent changes in parking spots. I am confident that the building manager could easily switch my parking spot with the one I requested, which is closer to the main entrance. If I could give zero stars, I would. Skyline Living (Bay Court Apartments) has been extremely difficult to deal with, especially regarding how they’ve handled a rent dispute long after I moved out. Despite a Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) order clearly stating that any unpaid balance would accrue 2% simple interest, Skyline ignored the legal order and tried to enforce 24% interest, citing a lease clause — even though Ontario law says such clauses are void when they conflict with the LTB ruling.
