This two star is temporary. I’m afraid the temporary men’s locker room makes this one of the Bay Club locations I’ll avoid until the renovation is complete. The trailer showers are useless - I’ve used much better ones on AIDS/LifeCycle. I’ll be sticking with Courtside or Cupertino until there’s a functional locker room for men.
Seems like all of the investment and new money from higher dues is going into the "flagship" club in El Segundo. This hardly seems fair as Redondo could use some just general maintenance such as making sure all of the video and audio work on the cardio machines.
I only joined Redwood Shores Bay Club in Jan 2017, and I have decided to end my membership already. I wanted to play more tennis, but it is really difficult to get a court at a reasonable time - talking about the outdoor courts, forget about getting an indoor court. They do not have any organized tennis events for my level, which other clubs tend to have.
