Bay area Midwifery gave us the ideal birth that we wanted. We delivered our second child there. This was our first time at a birth center and didn't know what to expect. All the midwives were incredibly professional and great at their jobs. Our midwife handled my hemorrhage after birth so expertly that i was able to be discharged within 5 hours postpartum. I would highly recommend anyone who is interested in a natural delivery and a more personal relationship with their medical practitioner.
You get whole patient care. Had some complications late in the pregnancy, and the midwives were great. Gave really good post birth advice for navigating life with a newborn. I cannot say enough!
Very comfortable and peaceful atmosphere. Staff from midwives to nursing assistants to LPNs to the admin staff, everyone was always very friendly and pleasant to work with! I loved laboring in the birthing center but due to unforeseen circumstances, ended up delivering in L&D. I look forward to my next pregnancy and hopefully delivering in the BC!
