Bay Area has guided me through 3 successful VBacs in the last 4 years. Two of which while navigating Gestational Diabetes. I couldn’t be happier with the care I received and how they helped me take control of my deliveries after a difficult delivery with my first under a different OB. I can’t recommend this practice enough!

I would never go anywhere else! I can’t say enough good things about this place. I have had 2 smooth and fully supported natural births in the birthing center according to my own birth plan. Every staff member is friendly, caring and extremely supportive of how you choose to birth your babies. I continue care here for my annuals as well and even that is a better experience than at an OB. I recommend them to every one I can!

We’ve had four of our five children with Bay Area Midwifery, three of whom were born in the freestanding birth center. Night and day from my very traumatic experience with an OB in the hospital with our first child. We only have fabulous things to say about each and every one of the midwives and our experience there. They are amazingly dedicated, talented, passionate, thorough and nurturing. Highly recommend!

My exsperience was very disrespectful from several staff members. Seemed as if they were suffering from there ego and an inferiority complex not to mention how incompetence seemed to be all they could muster up. I strongly suggest that for a love one in need that this is not the place..A janitor a Shepard Pratt seems to be more on the ball than the majority of these circus clowns.

Had my first Bay Area baby just 7 short months ago. From start to finish I cannot say enough good things about this practice. Each midwife was helpful, open, and a joy to meet and work with. Special thank you to midwife Anne who was a complete rockstar all through labor with our girl. I had to be induced and the use of pitocin was not in my plan. Needless to say, Anne helped to make sure I still was able to have the birth I wanted and helped to guide me along the way. If we were with any other practice I could have had a ver... read more

I hired Bay Area to help with my 2nd baby and I am so blessed to have had that experience. Midwifes really do all they can to help MOM listen to their bodies in their birthing journey and to help make the experience peaceful and pleasant. Did you know birth can be peaceful and pleasant? It can! Thank you Bay Area for supporting and helping bring Lillie into the world.
