I was a little skeptical of all the 5-star reviews. But after my first session with Dr. Vijayakumar (aka Dr. V) today, I'm enthusiastically joining the 5-star parade. In less than 30 minutes, Dr. V listened to me, examined my foot, diagnosed the problem and fixed it. He carefully cut out some deep and very hard callouses (caused by a lot of hiking in fairly rough terrain), with the immediate result that I could walk without pain or a limp for the first time in weeks. I had a wonderful experience at Bay Area Foot and Laser. The staff was friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable right away. I was treated by Dr. Vijayakumar for an ingrown toenail, and he was absolutely excellent—kind, knowledgeable, and very reassuring. He quickly identified the problem and treated it so gently that I felt no pain at all, both during and after the procedure. I left the office completely pain-free, which was such a relief. My wife took her 94 year old mother to see Dr Huey for her toe fungus treatment. Dr Huey is one of the most courteous and caring doctors that she has seen. He was patient and took the time not only to treat but also explain the treatment process.
