We have been coming here since I was a kid. Good home cooking at an affordable price.
The cooked food was fresh, but it was suprising to find out the apple oatmeal I ordered (remind you that we are right middle of apple season), was a watery blob looked like poured in to a bowl from a package and drowned in hot water. Although, they were kind enough to take it off the bill when I pointed out.
Seriously the best fried chicken we have ever had!! All the sides were incredible too.. Mac and cheese was the only disappointment, but green beans, potato salad, Cole slaw, French fries AND corn fritters were some of the best ever!! Thanks for such a great meal.. We are in a food coma!!
I had a party of 13. We waited in line maybe 20 mins and once we got to the front of the line we were seated in 5 mins. No wait for our food it came up pretty quick. Our waitress was prompt and very friendly. Over all once again a great experience.
Expensive prices, mediocre food, small portions and poor service. I called several times to discuss this with the GM/Harold and he was either outside, not there, or "busy". My family has been there many times over the past 30 years, but won't be back.

Had a nice experience. Was on an outing with my friend. We stopped there for lunch before going to BWI airport to pick up my hubby. I purchased the best darn pears too! It was a nice pit stop. I really enjoyed it. BTW the chocolate pie was awesome!
