About 6 months ago, I upgraded my 2 lead acid batteries to 4 BattleBorn batteries. Not only did I cut my overall weight by 40 lbs, but I increase my usable ah rating by 400%. I have run my A/C (and heat pump) off my batteries, charged them at incredible rates and run them into the teens of battery percentage and had no issues. They were a perfect drop-in for the battery compartments in my Lance camping trailer and the pair have performed amazingly. The best surprise is how fast they charge. The reduction of tongue weight was also a big factor in my decision.
Can't say enough about my BattleBorn setup! The ability to completely discharge them and not have to worry about charging to a full 100% is huge! Such a peace of mind, along with the weight savings as a full-timer! Only 180lbs., less than 1/2 the weight of equivalent non-lithiums! At 600ah and already looking at adding 200ah more for those multiple days of cloud cover.
