A staple of Las Vegas Italian restaurants for more than 20 years, this cozy eatery has served the famous - Sinatra himself dined here while in Las Vegas - and the not-so-famous. All entrees include unlimited free red or white house wine, garlic bread, and a soup or salad, which makes this fun restaurant a great deal. As a bonus, dinner is almost always accompanied by live accordion music and singing. The restaurant is decorated with strange and wonderful memorabilia, including one of the largest collections of tiny liquor bo... read more

More Vino Please.... – I ate at Battista's before I read the reviews and I am glad I ate there first. It seems to be hit and miss. We had a great meal, but another friend ate there a couple weeks later and did not enjoy it. I didn't go there looking for authentic Italian, but I did get a good meal at a reasonable price. I loved the salad! Excellent dressing! The house wine is what you would expect. Good portions and great taste. My dining companions and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
worth the time and money – We just got back from Vegas this week, May 2003. We visited Battista's on a Saturday night and had a party of 6. We had great service, food, and the environment was wonderful. I reccomend the chicken and eggplant parmesan. My sister in law did say the alfredo sauce was a little bland for her taste. The red wine was comparable to a merlot. The white was comparable to most inexpensive white wines. But it was free and all you could drink. I would definetly go there again on our next visit and would re... read more
Hole is an understatement – I can't understand all the fuss that I've heard about this restaurant. Even with reservations we had to wait almost a half hour for a table. Service was so bad we almost left. The food was poorly prepared and the side of pasta was served dry. (No Sauce). There are far better restaurants for considerably less.
Yous gotta see "Moosealini"! – Battistas may not have THE Best food around, but the atmosphere and history here are fun and fasinating. The bottomless wine carafe's make up for marginal food. If you're lucky, the accordianist won't stay toooo long.
Not deserving of true Italiano – Wanna come to my house?? I can go to Albertsons, buy some prego, some noodles, some cheap wine, and it would be better than this place!! If it were not for the celeb pics, no one in their right mind would return. Ignorant people think that if celebs like it, it must be good. If you think that, go here and be merry. Otherwise, stay away..
bad food from the 70's – this resturant had bad food in the 70's and it has not changed, its a poor excuse for italina food
Bada Bing, Bada Bad – Absolutely a place to avoid. Food is overpriced and not of very high quality. Biggest draw is pictures of clebrity's all over the wall. This place should find a big hole in the wall and fall in. Denny's on the strip offers more
I makes sure I stop here every visit. – This place is great it's not all stuffy like most good places to eat. I highly recommend this place. The wine there is out of this world, mind you I usually don't like wine. You must try this place. It's a tradition for us. The atmosphere is great. It's like you are in Italy. I love the accordian player.
authentic – Just like having dinner at my mother-in-law. The free wine keeps flowing. The menu though simple is tasty. Quoting from a NY Italian "feels like home"
