After doing surgery on both my eyes in 2010 and many routine and follow up appointments the staff will not make an appointment for me because they claim I didn't see him for a while and they are not seeing new patients. They claim not seeing the doctor for a while makes me a NEW patient. Hmmm!

Excellent doctor. The best I've ever seen. But I'm giving 2 stars because the staff has consistently been rude for the past 10+ years I've been going there. I have never seen such arrogant and rude staff in my life. They act as if they're doing a tremendous favor by working there and accepting my money. It's a shame because the doctor is SO nice but the staff ruins the experience, especially the lady in the front desk.
While the Doctor is a very good doctor, his receptionist is arrogant, rude, unkind and shows zero empathy towards the patients.

Extremadamente profesional y preparado, tengo rosácea ocular y la primera operación fue un tormento pues el Dr. Tiraba a ciegas medicamentos y no era capas de diagnosticar el problema, me tomo 5 meses recuperarme, ahora a una semana de la operación del segundo ojo estoy feliz con los resultados. Es profesional, no está buscando sólo sacarte el billete como muchos otros. Tiene sus reglas y las creo justas. Estoy feliz y se lo recomiendo con toda confianza .
Excellent eye doctor but be sure to review their policies. The staff is a bit money hungry. My friend wanted to ask if it was possible to have her yearly exam without dilating her pupils. They made her see the doctor to get the answer and of course they billed for a visit and collected the co-pay to tell her that she could not. Then rescheduled the appointment. They want their money up front always.
What a tremendous pleasure it was to be seen by Doctor Batista. His range of knowledge seemed inexhaustible! He is so professional and personable, that he makes you feel that you are in the best possible hands for the care of your eyes. A friend recently asked me if I knew a good eye doctor and I said that I didn't. Now it will be a pleasure to go back to her and say, "Now I do, go to Dr. Batista!" God bless you Dr. Batista!
