I went there to see the place and to reserve a room. The lady at the door was extremely rude. I want to ask you some questions about the place and she would not talk and she was just rude. Probably because I wasn't dressed in fancy attire, I had shorts and a t-shirt on. 7/16/26 at 10:45 am . VERY RUDE.
Wow! Words can't even express the experience we had! Nothing can compare to the personal attention we received at the Batcheller Mansion Inn. Martha, Emily, and the team, made us feel right at home starting with a tour as soon as we arrived. We got settled into our room, the Catherine, which was beautiful, before heading back downstairs talk to Martha who gave us some great recommendations for dinner including the Olde Bryan Inn. We have stayed here 4 times now and loved it each time. Less than 1/2 mile walk to the beginning of all the restaurants and shops in town. Amazing woodworking and old details in the rooms. Beds are always clean and comfortable. The service from the staff is top notch. We will be staying more often now too as our daughter is at school close by. 10/10 highly recommend
