We have lived in our very old home for 25 years, most of those with bats in the attic. With various attempts to eradicate them we’ve only managed about a 3-year reprieve after roof replacement and soffit repairs. One year ago we brought in another company out of Chanhassen who did a hack job leaving very unsightly ‘repairs’ at the roof line. Jim C BATFREE, LLC., advertises they never do work without first giving written service contract prior to starting ANY work. This is not true! Dennis ***** came to our house and verbally quoted $1,500-$2,000 to address our bat problem. When asked what he would do he answered, "Sheet metal or caulking". I judged him honest and, since my 77 year old wife is terrified of bats, told him to proceed. Of note, the fee to batproof a home is based on the size and shape of a home, not on the homeowners emotional state, financial state, or age!
