One of the best doctors I've had. Very caring and attentively listens.
It was a long difficult surgery. I respect Dr. Bastawrous's competency and master of his specialty chosen.
After over a month of misery, Dr Bastawaurous gave me the tools, empathy and knowledge to heal. I traveled 2 hrs to see him. The drive back home was like night so much better, after he taught me an excersise to do. He's wonderful. If you got issues down there, he's your man.
Dr. Bastowrous was one of the best surgeons I’ve ever talk to he performed my surgery perfectly and my recovery is much much better than expected. I was initially afraid of this surgery but after Dr. Bastowrous, I should’ve done it sooner. Highest recommendation from me. Good luck to you.
What kind of doctor or professional for that matter cancels an appointment less than one week before you are due to see him after waiting (and suffering) for an entire month? Dr. Bastwrous, that's who. Due to an ongoing conflict between me and his unprofessional front staff, who are the judgmental, insensitive and incompetent bullies, he refused to see me. Loved that he explained my options in a clear precise manner that was easy to understand. Easiest recovery of the surgeries I have had. (Had 5 in the last 18 years.) Very caring and his office was easy to work with and his office nurse even returned calls!
Colon resection after discovering cancer.
Dr. Bastawrous is the. Perfect blend of compassion and professionalism. He was very clear and exact in his explanation of the surgery procedure. I was very pleased with his degree of experience and his level of competency. My colorectal surgery produced an excellent result. I could not of been happier with the outcome.
After 20 years of Ulcerative Colitis it finally got to the point that I had to have my whole large intestine removed. 3 surgery’s later I am all done. He was a very skilled, kind compassionate surgeon. He cares about you and how you feel. I appreciate all his time and effort. He even moved my final surgery up 2 weeks so I could be recovered before a trip to Florida. He is very thoughtful I appreciate him and his team.
