Cold, brisk Sunday on the Sound. Seafood crepes and Bloody Mary were excellent. Scallops and shrimp were steamed perfectly and the view out over the water from the bar was gorgeous.

Beautiful view, great food !! The fried green tail shrimp is delicious. Also, the shrimp and grits is awesome !! We go to Bassnights every time we get to the OBX !!

My husband and I try to make it to the Outer Banks, at least a couple of times a year. Usually a weekend for our Anniversary and also for just the day, even though it's almost a 3 hour drive from where we live. My husband took me to Basnight's on my very first trip to the Outer Banks 5 years ago, (He had eaten there before) and it has been "Our Place" ever since. The food & service is always outstanding! We never head home without stopping at Basnight's!!!

Our food was fabulous. We had the crab dip, fried oysters, whole stuffed flounder, and grilled tuna. It was delicious and so much food that we could not finish it all, but saved room for the key lime pie. Thanks so much for a great 12 year anniversary dinner🍷. We have been going there every chance we get that way and our food is always great 👍.

Basnights is one of the primier restaurants on the OBX. The seafood is always fresh and extremely well prepared. The raw oysters - when they are available - are some of the best around. The service is attentive and friendly. No trip to the OBX is complete without a trip to Basnights

I recently took my Great Uncle here for a special dinner. At 84 yrs old he had a cup of she crab soup, prime rib, and tiramisu cheesecake. The portions were more than generous and while it may have taken a while through jovial conversation with staff and a lot of smiles, he savored and enjoyed every bite. I personally recommend the prosciutto wrapped scallops and crab cakes! We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
