RecommendedMy years at BASF working as a Technology Engineer in the MDI units at the Geismar site were some of the best years of my career as a chemical engineer. I was privileged to have the "trifecta" of a good boss, a good working environment, and a good company to work for. I was proud to work for this company because of their values and contributions to the welfare of humankind. I highly recommend this company to someone with talent, work ethic, and a desire to make the world a better place.
RecommendedI would recommend they change their slogan for this planet is a speck in the Universe created by One True G-d who is more powerful than any mortal can imagine. Only kidding. That would cost too much to change your slogan. Erosion is stopped by planting trees. Remember history. PG and E tried to save money. Rust is nature's way to recycle as are fires in forrests. I would NOT recommend working for this company... I was a software developer / tester in Whitehouse OH, for there paint mixing software. When the program manager learned of my disabilities, that does Not affect my work, I was harassed daily until the point I quite the job. Just a side note: Apparently since I left the position the company can not keep the spot filled, I still get calls about twice a month from head hunters for BASF.
