Dr. Berger has a terrible bedside manner. He does not explain procedures well. Before surgery I told him that I was very allergic to contrast dye but he wouldn't promise me that he wouldn't use it. The procedure he did resulted in infection and excruciating pain that sent me to the ER, but the office never bothered to follow up with me until my daughter called them a few days later. Even then he just told me to go to the ER. He obviously does not care about his patients.
Dr. Berger is THE best urologist in the area, hands down. Not only is Dr. Berger a friendly, engaging doctor, he's also the type of doctor that is personally invested in each of his patients. In all seriousness, I've never had a urologist better and have had half a dozen Lithotripsy and stint procedures. If you are going to another urologist - you're stacking the deck against yourself.
