Lush wooded areas hug Barton Creek, which is great when it's full of water but perhaps even better when it's dry. You can access this area from the trail going into Zilker or by a trailhead on Homedale Rd. Bikes, hikes, dogs, and kids welcome. Look out for the little baby turtles before you step!
