Dr. Hofmeister has lived in the Chicago area all his life. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology in 1976 from the U. of Illinois, C/U. Following graduation he studied and traveled in Europe. He entered the U. of Illinois at Chicago, College of Dentistry in August of 1978, graduating as a D.D.S. in the spring of 1982. Doctor Jamie and her staff are awesome. Doctor Jamie has wonderful empathy for her patients in addition to being a great dentist. I would highly recommend them.
I came here after being transferred from Kid's First Dentistry, so it is my first 'adult' dentist. I thought it would be nerve-racking at first but after my first visit, there was nothing to worry about! Rob (the man up front) is very nice and loves to chat, which puts my mind at ease. They do not work with Delta dental, did not tell me when I signed up with them either. I was shocked to get a $365 bill for a first time check up and cleaning. I called and they said "oh your insurance company sent you the check" i did receive one for $104 and they reduced my amount owed to $199. I have been to several dentists over the years with the same insurance and never paid anything out of pocket, especially for cleaning.

Dr Jamie and entire team are the best in the western burbs. She takes her time to explain your dental issues, will even send you away if she knows you can get it done cheaper at a dental school when I was in need of replacing my front amalgams and didn’t have insurance. Such a great compassionate office. Flora, the hygienist really got me taking better care of my teeth and gums. I couldn’t recommend them more.
