We usually hit up Barter when eating at Del Frisco's Grille next door. The drinks are good but a bit pricy. The decor inside is fun, several large tables to encourage community and some sofas as well. The made to order drink specials is hit or miss but it's fun to experiment. If you're into ginger, definitely order the Moscow Mule.
The new menu is amazing, make sure and try the Short Rib Spring Rolls and Wild Boar Nachos. I don't think I have ever had a bad drink from the bar, and I have had a few that easily sit in the top 5. I highly recommend it.
Great new restaurant in Dallas. Service by waiter Scott was impeccably southern comfort. Cocktails to die for, and the food is surprisingly moderately priced but very good. I am not a local but I would say probably best place to eat in Dallas right now, not having sampled any of the others!
