Dr. Katz has been my family doctor for years. He is attentive and open to work with you regarding your health conditions. However, we have had horrible experiences with billing because of his inattentiveness, and ordering tests and services that are not medically necessary. We had to fight with insurance couple of times, involving him to appeal the decision thru a one-on-one peer review, which he has not been able to resolve either (twice). I went to Dr. Katz for the entire 8 years I lived in SC. My husband also saw him. He is kind, patient and listens to you. He believes you know your body better then anyone and doesn't just tell you your going to do this or take that. He talks to you about what you feel will work best for you, your body and your lifestyle. I was very sad to leave him when we moved out of the state.

I love Dr.Katz been going to him for a pretty long time and he is actually my first male physician.The visit be quick and to the point no bearing around the bush.
Dr. Katz has been caring for my family for several years. He has been a huge help with our 14-year-old and "his leap into the dreaded teenage years". The same with his older sister. Dr. Katz is a solid professional and a talented Doctor. We were referred by another patient that has been with Dr. Katz for many years and always said great things about him. My family now are all going to see him and we send everyone we know to him as well if they are seeking a GP. The office and staff are very welcoming and kind. The Roper group is top notch with support services and referrals. I highly recommend Dr. Katz and the Roper group !
