Performed my first MOHS surgery at Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem mid 90’s. All day until it was clear. Received my 1st skin graft also. Dr David Tart in Hickory NC referred me to him. I was put into excellent care for this procedure and will always be grateful for care and concern I was given. Thank you! ??
I haven't seen him in years - he performed my first couple of Mohs surgeries. He was both skillful and personable - a real mensch. Also, as Brenda Holland says above, kind. By the way surely Ms. Holland must have thought that 1 was the highest score: a mistake. Given her post about Dr. Leshin, she must have meant to assign him a 5.
Dr Leshin is THE BEST.
I really respected the fact that Dr. Leshin never seemed rushed. Often doctors are “in and out” and he was very patient and calming when I was there for my Moh’s surgery.
Dr. Leshin and his attending nurse were excellent. His nurse communicated perfectly and the instructions to take home were also excellent. Compared to other dermatological surgical experiences, I was delighted with the strips placed on the wound for sterility, post-surgery. Those were new to me, and so far, have made caring for the wound so much easier and safer.
Dr. Lesin is the best! He’s very thorough, professional and most of all very kind! I appreciate all his help as well as all the staff.
