We went out on a Saturday went to Gilbert to see the new restaurants I realize this restaurants been there for a while but we haven’t yet made your way to it was busy but we got in in about 15 minutes and they text you on your phone when you’re ready which is very cool and convenient the chips are homemade and they’re delicious their little thick but they’re really good there sauce is more of a brown sauce but it was delicious I had their tacos they had three street tacos for $11 and I had the potatoes they were spicy it see... read more
Very disappointed in the service of the Gilbert bar staff. Went on Saturday evening 1/13/18 and ordered a soup that took over 45 minutes. By the time the soup arrived, my appetite had gone. No one from the bar staff ever came to tell me the soup was being made. Unacceptable!!!!! Had to ask bartender several times and the female bartender had a very defensive attitude! Will be letting friends know about this situation. Last time I go to this place.

Wanted to take my daughter out to eat in downtown Gilbert but the place she wanted to go had almost an hr wait time. After walking around we noticed Barrio Queen wasn’t busy and decided to try. Our expectations were not up to par as we ordered the burrito and it was a plain burrito sides were extra and bland at best. Filbertos have a better selection than here and cheaper. When I go to a Mexican restaurant I expected a plate full of food for $15 not just a plain burrito. Will not recommend.

Service from Kim was outstanding! Problem was the food orders were last and a couple never were delivered. Kitchen had only in person cooking and several products were not available.
I am from Dallas Fort Worth and ate twice at Barrio Queen while staying the weekend in Gilbert. The Pollo Creme Verde recommended by the bartender..was amazing..great presentation and tasted fantastic. Great atmosphere and extra polite staff. Highly recommend
Happened to be happy hour, to my surprise happy hour margaritas $6 were hand poured and pure lime juice no sugary substitute was used. The had a great tequila kick definitely will be back for happy hour.
I enjoyed New Year's Eve there had a great time great music my food was great the DJ was wonderful Ms Tidwell knows how to rock the place a most memorable event/ night....
