Barrio Queen is one of our favorites... Great outdoor seating and the brisket enchiladas are a must try item...
One of our favorite places in DG. We were sat after a short wait and our server, Zach, was attentive, informative and extremely friendly. always a great experience and the food is always delicious.
I ordered 3 tacos, al pastor, chorizo and carne asada. The Tortilla was chewy and a little cold. Chorizo had a consistency of tuna and very greasy, al pastor tasted more like bbq pork, the carne asada was just average. All had onion and the cilantro was barely there. Beans with bits of queso fresco Tasted like can beans and rice was average. This authentic barrio place is far from authentic when it comes to tacos.Props to the horchata, that was good and chips were good too. $45 for two btw.
It was OK. The margarita was good, the paloma was so-so. They made guacamole at our table & it was good. Our service was B+, the atmosphere was cool, but the main courses were 'eh.' It was a one-stopper for me.

I enjoyed the interesting dishes of Mexican food, and the Day of the Dead decor and merchandise. Best chicken tortilla soup ever! Plan to go again �
The drinks were amazing! Bartender Nicole was so sweet and with as busy as it was, still made time to chat with us. We will definitely be back to try the food.
