Excellent & helpful. Dr Woods explained the problem & possible intervention very well.
Dr. Woods performed surgery on me a little over a year ago. When I came to him I could hardly walk, had pain in both of my legs and tried numerous other options. After going back and forth with him we decided to go ahead with the surgery. It was the best decision because I have no pain in my legs and can walk normal again. I ended up having a crushed nerve as well as 2 herniated discs. Dr. Woods was professional as well as caring through the process. I would recommend him to anyone with back pain.
Dr Woods performed a lumbar laminectomy and spinal fusion on me in 2018. The surgery went without a hitch. My recovery was exactly as Dr Woods predicted. The real bonus though are his interpersonal skills. He shows an incredible personal interest in his patients. I had an unrelated issue almost a year following surgery and contacted him. He called twice on a Sunday to follow up with me. I live in Florida but if either I ever needed major orthopedic surgery, we would travel to NJ for it. Very understanding and caring physician. Listens to your concerns and tries to explain what is going on in laymens terms. Never feel rushed in his office and know I can talk to him anytime about my concerns. Makes me feel confident that I am in good hands and will be diagnosed and cared for by expert physicians.
