There aren’t enough superlatives to describe Dr. Woods. From the first appointment to surgery, post op and follow up, you meet a physician who listens to your concerns with compassion. I had a laminectomy and spinal fusion. My surgery was life changing. I’m no longer in pain! Dr. Woods is a consummate spinal surgeon with an impeccable manner. As my experience was so positive , I would highly recommend Dr. Woods to anyone who needs this type of surgery. My husband is now scheduled for surgery with Dr. Woods
His bedside manner is wonderful, performed fusion on my neck, no problems whatsoever.
My Husband visited Dr. Woods after another episode of "throwing his back out". He had had 2 prior surgeries many years ago. He was already feeling much better so Dr. Woods didn't suggest surgery right away and had us come back 3mos later. At that time we realized it was time. The surgery was successful (Lumbar Laminectomy and Fusion)and he was up the next day and stronger than ever.
Dr. Barrett Woods is absolutely a wonderful, skilled, and caring doctor. My 1st appointment, he walked in and said he could fix me and 3 weeks later he did. Had great care in the hospital and recovered quickly. Would have no issues going through this again with he as my surgeon and PA, Gabrielle McIntyre, at his side. What a great team! Would recommend them to absolutely anyone needing "like" care!
Dr. Woods did my second back surgery this one was a fusion in my low back. I would recommend Dr.Woods to anyone who needed spine surgery not only because his expertise in his ability to perform surgery but his character is second to none, the man is incredible in every way from first visit to after surgery he came and saw me in the hospital after surgery and the next day. He's a step above the normal doctor his character is one I would want my kids to idolize . Could never be happier
Dr Woods is the most amazing, caring, compassionate Dr I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He listens, explains and understands your concerns. His bed side manner is beyond explanation. I do not know how I would have made it through my procedure and ongoing recovery without his expertise.
I had 2 level ACDF surgery performed by Dr Woods. I was dealing with Numbness and pain in neck, arm and Hands. Dr. Woods Was phenomenal from first visit through surgery and forth. He was very thorough and explained the whole process. He and his staff were very pleasant and courteous. I enjoyed the whole process and would definitely refer anyone to him. Thx Doc Woods!!

From the time we made my husband’s appt to the office visit everything went smooth and efficient. The staff is professional and friendly. Dr Woods is a caring Dr who explained my husband’s condition in detail and made sure we understood everything. So pleased with Dr Woods.
