The place was nice, the waiters were quick to serve, but my salmon was undercooked. They got it cooked to satisfaction and back to me quickly. My husbands filet was done to perfection and delicious!
Sonia was our server... And she was absolutely amazing! Friendly, personable and fun as all get out! The food was unsurprisingly wonderful. While many venues in the area struggle with elevating basic continental fair, Baron's provides some truly inspired dishes. We've been locals in the Glenwood Springs area for years and eat at Baron's Restaurant at the Hotel Colorado pretty regularly, so we know what to expect. The food is generally okay—nothing mind-blowing, but solid enough for a nice casual meal in a historic setting. The problem is consistency; some visits the dishes are tasty and well-prepared, other times they're just average or even a little off. You never quite know what you're going to get.
