We had a terrible experience at this hospital. The ER was good inpatient care and what they call their "ICU" was HORRIBLE. Do not let your loved ones stay here!!
Waited over 9 hours. Only took my temp then asked to to set alone in the lobby wear a face mask. After that I didn't see or hear from anyone. I just laid in the floor unable to move. They also watched me crawl in but was to busy chatting about other coworkers and how much they disliked them. I took another person waiting in the lobby with someone to say something to them. Then they looked at me and said well I guess we better get to work and ran off. The person helped me get into the lobby and to the back.
I has a partial mastectomy 11/26/14 there by Dr. Julie Margenthalor . She was fantastic and I was very satisfied.
Five years ago today, Dr. James Fleshman and the doctors, nurses and staff at Barnes West literally saved my life. I wouldn't be here today without you. Nothing I can say will ever be enough to let you all know how grateful I am for what you did for me and my family. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!
Quality of care, genuine caring and kindness, and punctuality leads me to believe that the "big" hospitals should take lessons from West.

We were treated very poorly...the staff made sure we knew they were busy and understaffed and the ER doctor practically berated us for not using an ER closer to our home.
Yes I have had good care when I had my surgery . I have had 5 or 6 of them. I received good care from the staff. I started having problem with them when I lost my job and lost my ins. , then I was treated different . Was paying everything out of my pocket, until my Medicare would start. Had breast cancer, 7 car wrecks. Some the staff would help me with bills then wouldn't . But every surgery and medical treatments I had they were all paid.
