The Barn was recommended to us by our Airbnb host and we’re so glad we stopped for breakfast! Friendly, small town feel, home cooking and our waitress, Loretta was a hoot. Great service, corned beef hash like my grandma used to make, my wife had the best omelet she’s ever eaten . We wish we lived closer so we could eat here more often, a definite must stop in the Brainerd area!

Staying at Cragun’s- well worth the short drive!! Adorable little diner with awesome food, above excellent service, and charm to spare. Loretta made it a true experience- she’s friendly, super attentive, fast, and so funny! She’s as much of a gem as this little diner. And holy Hanna the PIES!!! Go to The Barn, ask for Loretta, eat the pie! Good luck choosing just one;)

First time eating at The Barn and I have absolutely no complaints! Quick, friendly service, delicious food and good pie! My mom got the “delicious” Maid Rite sandwich, split-pea soup and lemon merengue pie. I got a cheese burger (with all the fixings), tator tots, and buttermilk pie. The burger was juicy, toppings were fresh, the tots were perfectly crispy, and the pie was sweet, flaky, and the edges were chewy from the caramelized sugar! YUM! I’ll definitely be back!
