In the past when I traveled to Brainerd to visit with my daughter and son-in-law (Karl and Kristin Flor) about 10 years ago they introduced me to The Barn's famous MAID RITE sandwich. Since then my daughter's family has moved from Minnesota a couple of years ago. I'm missing the menu choices and the great taste of a family owned restaurant food. The memories of the pleasant staff brings a smile to my face. The recollection of the food is making me hungry, and my mouth is starting to water!

We are from South Dakota and were looking for a place to stop for lunch. The Barn reviews were great so we stopped and were not dissapointed! I highly recommend the Maid-Rite and a slice of homemade pie. It feels like you are sitting in your grandma's kitchen!
First time here, food and service is great! Loretta is the best!
Maidrite hamburgers are the best. Great breakfast, and a fun group of people working at the Barn.
It's an experience! Had the Made Rite sandwich. It was over stuffed with their signature "loose meat" and very tasty. But the staff were so friendly they made us feel like family. They made us want to come back soon! Even the other customers were very friendly. We will be stopping in frequently when in the Brainerd area.
Excellent food as well as awesome staff! Their pies are out of this world!
