If you wanna have free diarrhea,fake paella and fake sangria this is the place! The water was ok lol The staff was nice but it doesn’t worth what they charge and definitely not worth the sleepless night that I went trough after eating in this place...just because you are American doesn’t mean you can get scam about “ a real spanish tapas place”
Barlata is one of our favorite restaurants in Austin. My husband is from Spain and their tapas are the most authentic and delicious we found in town. Always have the Gambas al ajillo, papas bravas, croquetas, Paella, oxtail and mash potatoes and pan tomaquete con jamon ibérico � They also make the best drinks in town! If it was a little cheaper, we would go more often �� Our bill it’s usually $50 per person average plus tip. Always worth it!
Great option if you want to enjoy a good Iberian food. Nice place, nice food �
The food was great and so as the waiter. The host was rude; he threw the drink menu on the table and it felt like he didn't want to be there while he helped our waiter with the food and drinks.
