Always awesome people! Dogs not allowed unless service dog .. that’s a bummer but understandable. So sitting outside is o my option if you have a dog. Love the food and the beer!
Sunday brunch was good. Chicken wings and fries were good. Good Salads. The staff were excellent.

We’ve been going to the Barking Dog since 2004, as it’s a short walk from our house. It’s been through a couple-few ownership changes over the years, and the folks who’ve been running the place these past few years have been terrific! Attentive, friendly, and quick to fix any (rare) mistake. Great for brunch, lunch, dinner, and drinks!
Food is served lukewarm. I don't know why but there is something lacking in their system.
Good food, family friendly, and now really I would call it a gastropub. The Barking Dog is a great neighborhood eatery in Ballard.
