We loved it, one of the best dog friendly places! Nicole was amazing, always with a smile and taking care of us wonderfully... Definitely we will come back and visit it very often! Thanks for having this nice place where we can enjoy it with our best furry friend! ���

Great food, staff and service.... And they are dog friendly... wonderful little place tucked away in Ballard.
The food is great. Not your typical bar fare heavy on frying, but fresh flavorful dishes. My husband goes for the black bean burger while I recommend the Southwest inspired salad with great cilantro-lime dressing. And, not to be outdone by Ballard's many brewpubs, the Barking Dog has a great beer list. A laid back unpretentious neighborhood place to watch the game or have a family dinner. We love it.
New owner - Dan is in charge. Atmosphere is Danesque! He knows food, service, cold beer, people and satisfaction. The tempo here (STAFF) is AMAZING (every restaurant should take notes - and I have been to restaurants all over the world). My hunch is that we will see some new menu options - soon that anyone and everyone will want to enjoy!! Dan, thanks for staying with your trade..... It's a welcome moment/experience! So glad to get to enjoy it! You make everything look easy!
