Dr. Barkat Khan is the most amazing Doctor. He is by far the best! A great listener. He is compassionate and helpful. I recently moved to Alabama and have honestly missed him! I was his patient for years. I believe it was 2010 when I first seen him when I had moved to zephyhills Florida from Apopka Florida. I cannot describe the gratitude that I have. Dr Barkat Khan is a wonderful doctor . He has helped me out a lot . He's a doctor that listens to you and understands what you're saying. Dr. Khan and everyone in his office treat you like family. I appreciate all the help they all have gave me over the years I've been going to him. I had another doctor giving me shots in my spine and it was steroids and I was allergic to them I guess I wasn't very nice to Dr Khan I'd sure like to know what I said they told me I would never remember and try to forget it ever happened.I'm so ... read more

After waiting an hour and thirty minutes to see nurse practitioner for the first time, I requested copay back and left office. Patients after patients kept coming in to see Dr Khan, but I kept wait for Shelley with no luck. Will never use again.
Dr. Barkat U. Khan, does not reflect the attitude or professional ability that I have received at Florida Medical Clinic in the past. I had a problem with my medication, he had issued me the same prescription that he gave me a year ago, which made me extremely ill. I took the medication, without knowing his mistake, and became dreadfully ill again. My wife researched all my medications and found the problem. I cautiously approached him about it, and he got argumentative and belligerent with me.
Dr. Khan has been treating me for more than 10 years and has done a great job. His office staff is excellent too. If you're having issues with your mental health do not hesitate to see Dr. Khan. He is very kind and caring and most importantly very good at his job. For the reviewer who left one star because it took so long to get an appointment, how is that his fault? There simply are not enough psychiatrists in the area and he doesn't overbook patients causing long waits in the office.
Dr. Khan and his wonderful staff has made my life worth living. With his great wisdom and the right medication I have a quality of life that is worth living I feel like I am a member of the human race.
I have been seeing dr. Khan for about 4 years he saved my life I was feeling down hopeless nowhere to go life was lifeless he didn't don't me up with medication he addressed my diseases and took care of them there talk meditation and sometimes a little medication he's there for you as a true friend and a great doctor
The absolute worst doctor ever. He has no bedside manner whatsoever. He said that therapy was not necessary, yet there were suicidal tendencies discussed during the session. A waste of time, waste of money and extremely disappointing. Left feeling lower than I did when I walked in. If there was a 0 rating, he earns it for sure. Awful experience.
