My dog got cut also by groomer.BEWARE I took one of my dogs there in Jan and everything was fine. I brought my other dog (who has never been groomed before, we got him from the pound a while back) and I told them up front, not sure how he will be since he hasn't ever been groomed before,although he is very sweet.I picked him up when he was finished and immediately he sat in the floor of the place and started licking his testicles and whimpering. I LOVE this place! After reading reviews on B-n-B, I was skeptical to say the least. They happened to be the only groomers that could get Molly, our Airedale Terrier in on the same day. I went ahead and took her in. Molly is brand new to our home, and is still very timid around my family, so needless to say, I was worried to take her in to get bathed and groomed with strangers. Unbelievable!!! This place has it all. It's clean, the staff is WONDERFULL, the dogs aren't stressed out, they have cute retail....I just can't say enough. My dog has never looked or smelled better and I didn't have to wait 8 hours to get him back. They are a few extra dollars than the other local shops but it is well worth it!
A great job by a great groomer When I found out that Bark N Bubbles was under new ownership, I was a little worried that Max might not get the same quality of care he was used to. I'll admit part of my worry was over the comments on the website, but I'm one of those people who believes in experiencing something for myself, rather than go by someone else's experiences. Neutering your pet I can certainly sympathize with Julie K and her situation. I had an unneutered Yorkshire terrier and every time that I took him to the groomer (over in Dallas), something would happen. When I eventually took him to Linda and explained how wild he was (it took two of us to give this eight-pound dog a bath!), Linda told me that neutering him would probably calm him down considerably. I kept putting it off but eventually, I did so -- and he settled down.
Awesome job!! After trying out many groomers and being disappointed time after time in the way our dogs turned out we have finally found someone who does a wonderful job! Our dogs look amazing and we could not be happier. The facility was very clean and the staff was very kind and accomidating. We will definitely be going back and recommending them to friends.
Very pleased Good service, nice people, happy dog. Need I say more? All in all, I'm very pleased with what i've found here and I'll definitely be a regular. I highly recommend this shop to anyone.
Trying to debate I had a friend from work who have been to the old Barks & Bubbles and have always had great things to say about this place, but he rencetly mentioned that the store smells like smoke and if the workers are indeed smoking in there, then I'm not willing to give it a try. I think I'll research some more and read reviews. A bit weary of going to this place after some of the reviews??
Owned my own dog grooming business Having owned my own grooming business I am very careful who grooms my toy poodle. Linda has always done a wonderful job with Nannette. I started taking Nannette to Linda in 2006 and when she moved into her new location I followed her even though it is not convenient. It is important to me that Nannette is well cared for while she is being groomed and that she likes going to her groomer.
