Sadly. We took our pup here thinking it was privately owed and it would be great to try out. Razor burn was what we got. Never had this ever happen and she is 6. She is a very anxious dog and we warned them. They should have just stopped the haircut if they were unable to do it without hurting her. The man at the front said no it's not razor burn! When Hurricane Laura threatened our area and we had to leave our home due to a mandatory evacuation, I started making plans for our family to head North. I googled pet boarding in Tyler, Texas. These guys showed up as number one is several best lists so I gave them a call. They were able to take our two fur babies while we stayed in a hotel. Had the hardest time finding a groomer in Tyler who was willing to groom my 16 year old dog, Oliver (we are new to the area). I told my vet this and he told me to call Wendy at Bark Avenue. They are complete professionals and had no problem grooming my old guy. Their place is so nice and clean, Wendy and her husband are so sweet, and Oliver looked great and felt like a new dog after his grooming. Every service they offer they do the best. I have a 9 month old Neapolitan Mastiff they do all her nail trims and bathing. I will always board her with Bark Avenue I can leave and not worry about her care.

My husband and I don’t have to tell them about our concerns and our dog’s needs every time we drop him off because they take care notes! They remember! Our dog is 15 years old and they are wonderful with him! They don’t throw him in a cage when he’s done. I don’t have to leave him all day. I’ve had some awful experiences with other groomers, so I fully appreciate and recommend Bark Ave.

Very professional and courteous service, fairly priced, very clean. My Boston Terrier is older, and has never liked going to the vet or to a groomers. Her disposition was great as soon as she entered, and seemed very happy when I picked her up. The owners here obviously take pride in their work and care for the dogs they groom and care for. I would recommend them without question.
