RecommendedWe love this place. It’s like going to neighbors for dinner when you’re not Italian and you know you are going to get really great food. Jersey City has awesome places to eat. But this is special. I took my daughter and family there for her 21st recently. What a great time.

Old school Italian like I remember. Friendly staff along with large plates of delicious traditional Italian American classics like Cousin Gracie and Cousin Anthony used to make. If you like authentic food, real people, in an unpretentious atmosphere, this is your place. You will not leave hungry or disappointed.

We were visiting from Oregon and staying in an AirBnB in jersey city. We stopped by the Barge Inn for some foot because it was right down the street. Little did we know we were going to fall in love with this place. We went for dinner the next night. This place is a loving and cozy environment with a great atmosphere. The owner, Linda and bartender, Lenny were absolutely amazing. I can’t stress enough how important it is to stop by here if you’re in the area. We LOVED it.

Pasta Fagioli. flounder francaise. Everything was delicious! Lucille's service was phenomenal! Definitely will becoming back soon..❤❤
