I had a laminectomy with fusion two months ago and from the initial meeting, through the surgery and recovery this has been a very good experience. Not taking spine surgery lightly, Dr. Barcohana was the 3rd Ortho Surgeon I'd consulted and right away I was impressed that not only did he know what he was doing, but was able to communicate that to me effectively. Lumbar surgery with him and always the best care and bedside manner. He takes an interest to what the patient says and treats accordingly. His staff are always helpful.
Went in for a broken back and was happy to find out my options that the hospital didn’t inform me about. Was a quick in and out and was given all information up front so i could make the best choices for my body.
Dr. Bacohana was the 3rd surgeon I'd consulted about my condition. From the beginning, I got the feeling he was the one I was looking for. He was able to explain the physiology behind his approach and it was very evident he was well experienced in resolving the kinds of symptoms I presented.
I was admitted to the hospital with excruciating back and leg nerve pain due to a disc pressing on my nerve. Dr. Barcohana reviewed my MRI and agreed to do my surgery. I am now recovering from the surgery and on the road back. He saved my life!!!
The process for surgery was very professional. He answered all my questions and concerns i had prior to surgery. His medical team made me feel confident and comfortable on surgery day.
I had spinal fusion surgery in November of 2019 and am happy to report that I was pain free in less than 30 day from surgery and remain that way just short of 1 year. He and his PA Esther are both professional, amazing, talented and completely delivered everything they promised and more. They are thorough with super bedside manner and are very good at explaining everything. I highly recommend them!
I had my second cervical fusion with Dr Barcohana and it went just as smoothly as the first. He was great! Would def recommend him!
All my visits are wonderful. Great customer service, clean, with a welcoming of courtesy.
